Here is an important message of the ICDS Committee!
Paul Hille, president
Thank you to those who have registered for the 3rd International Conference of Dalcroze Studies (ICDS3)! We have a record number of registrations and delegates arriving from all over the world.
We are now moving into the final stages of preparation and are very excited about the event that we will create together. Please read this email for important information and requests.
The draft conference programme is now available online: www.dalcroze-studies.com.
ICDS3 is delighted to present 7 keynotes, 61 papers, 46 workshops, 17 paper & workshops, 3 symposia, 4 roundtables, 9 posters, as well as 5 concerts, with a total of 25 different performances of various groups/artists.
We will also be hosting throughout the conference the exhibition ÉMILE JAQUES-DALCROZE: MUSIC IN MOVEMENT devoted to the work of the founder of Eurythmics. The opening evening will feature guest performances and a cocktail dinner for all delegates.
For those of you with more complex technical requirements, we will be in touch about facilities for presenters/performers.
We invite you all to volunteer to chair a session or two at ICDS3 (normally a session contains 3-5 papers, or 1-2 workshops). So far, we only have 7 volunteers, whereas we need around 50! If you are willing to keep time, introduce and thank the presenters, and ask for questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with ‘chairing’ as the email subject.
Thank you in advance for your help!
If anyone would like to bring materials to sell (books, DVDs, etc.), there will be a room available during break times. If you wish to find out more about this opportunity, please contact email@example.com with ‘merchandise’ as the email subject.
